What’s a Lightweight Awning?
Lightweight awnings are perfect for campers who value portability and ease of setup. These awnings weigh less than 2.75kg / sqm, making them easy to pack and transport. They are ideal for summer camping when weather conditions are milder and there’s less moisture in the air and ground.
Lightweight awnings are often made from polyester fabrics, which are lightweight, but may not offer the same breathability as other materials. This can lead to condensation in cooler temperatures or during prolonged rainfall.
Telta offers a range of lightweight awnings made of Telta’s exclusive AEROTEX polyester ripstop fabric. These awnings are designed for summer use, but can still be used in other seasons, although you may experience condensation.
